I can carry out all medical services that can be done in a hospital with a doctor's prescription, except haemodialysis and chemotherapy. (Please note that all my services are home based.)

1.  Blood testing

I can visit patients at home so they don't have to go to the laboratory. A doctor must prescribe each blood test. In addition if there is urine or faecal testing I bring the necessary recipients and take the specimen to the lab you specify

2.  Wound dressing

Many people in the community have wounds of various types that they are very capable of managing themselves. Sometimes, however, a serious wound needs professional management from a doctor or nurse. These wounds can include leg ulcers, lacerations and skin tears or wounds that have not healed properly after an operation or accident.

3.  Injections

  • I.M. intra muscular

  • I.V. intravenous

  • S.C. subcutaneous

  • I.D. intra dermal

  • All injections require a doctor’s prescription

4.  I.V. DRIPS

All kind of drips: for antibiotic use : pain medication : de-hydration etc.

24 hour or direct removal after use.

For both adults and children.

(Except for chemotherapy or dialyse patients).

5.  Blood pressure

Checking of blood pressure including heart rate for cardiac and diabetic patients.

6.  Diabetes

  • Follow up for diabetic patients non-insulin dependant.

  • Blood sugar testing, helping with the diet, checking extremities for small wounds.

  • Blood pressure testing.

  • Follow up of diabetic patients whom are insulin dependant.

  • Blood sugar testing before and 2h after the meals + blood pressure.

  • Injecting insulin 1, 2, 3 or 4 times a day and checking on the meals.

  • Instruction on preparing insulin and self administering the insulin.

  • Blood sugar testing to patients who still are able to do it them self.

7.  Pregnancy Care 

For pregnant patients who risk pregnancy diabetes 3,5 or 6 blood tests in 1 day before and 2 hours after every meal to monitor the blood sugar level  or after taking 200gr of sugar to provocate the sugar level in the blood.

Caesarean operation wounds: Checking for infection or the cleansing and removal of stitches or hooks.

8.  Urinary & gastric catheters

Input and removal for men, women and children. As a one off or for long term.

Input and removal of gastric catheters required for feeding when the patient has difficulty eating, or for other medical purposes.

9.  Clysma's

For bedridden patients that have difficulties or medical therapy

All of the above techniques cannot be done without a doctor’s prescription and will be done in collaboration with the patient’s doctor.

10.  Aerosol therapies  

For patients with pneumologie problems who need aerosol or oxygen therapy.

o

11.  Suctioning

With suction catheter and machine for gastric use or pneumology use.o
